Our journey began in 2007 when our owners, driven by a strong vision, aimed to create a competitive player in producer responsibility within Sweden. The goal was to streamline the process of handling electronics and batteries responsibly.

 

Today, we take pride in having grown to become the leading partner in this field across the Nordic region, with offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and collaborative partners in Finland. Our mission is clear: to increase electronic recycling while making it as environmentally friendly and cost-effective as possible. Secure Collect, a Secure Collection Box for Electronics

As an innovative challenger, we’ve grown into a strong player in producer responsibility through competition and fresh thinking. For instance, we’ve developed Secure Collection boxes (Secure Collect) for electronics with sensitive memory media, such as computers and mobile phones.

These boxes can only be opened by specially trained staff at recycling facilities, where a software program is used to erase all information. These boxes are available at our partners and they represent the most reliable option on the market for recycling electronics with sensitive data, both for individuals and companies.

GreenTrack, a Smart Booking System for Picking Up and Transporting Electrical Waste and Batteries

We have developed GreenTrack to be able to track the picking up and delivery of electrical waste from collection points to pre-treatment centers. By tracking and controlling the transport of the e-waste that Recipo handles on behalf of our customers, we can ensure that the waste is handled correctly and safely, for people and for the environment.
